Mandeville Conservatory of Music offers Trial Lessons. The purpose of a trial lesson is to allow the teacher to assess the readiness / suitability of the student for the particular course.
It is not a guarantee that the trial student's enrolment for the course is confirmed. There is a possibility that the teacher may decide that the student is not ready or suited for the instrument at that particular point of time. As such, fees paid for the trial lesson is non-refundable and will not be used to offset for a course taken at a later stage in time.
Trial fees will only be offset as one regular lesson fee if the student signs up on the same day of the trial lesson, for the same course type (e.g. instrument, individual/ group, length of duration), under the same teacher (pending teacher's assessment). Thus, the course is considered to have commenced with immediate effect. There should be no postponement on the date of commencement of the course. Otherwise, it is considered as one trial lesson and is non-transferable and non-refundable.
