For individual lessons, you may commence anytime depending on the availability of teachers.

If you commence lessons in the middle or end of the month, fees will be prorated for the first month only. Thereafter, fees are to be paid monthly before the 15th.
Yes, trial lessons are available and has to be paid for at least 2 days in advance. The trial fee is non-refundable and there is no guarantee of a placement after the trial lesson. You will be entitled to 1 free lesson (credited off your 2nd month’s fee, varies with the monthly fees) if you enroll after the trial with the same teacher.
No, you may use the school’s instrument for the trial lesson at no extra cost. However, for woodwind & brass instruments, students are required to have their own instruments due to hygiene purposes.
We offer music appreciation courses from newborns and Violin or Piano classes from 3 years old. Individual lessons are available from 5 years old for all instruments.

Every newborn baby comes into the world with potential abilities far exceeding those of any other creature on earth.
Every student progress at a different rate based on his exposure to music in his daily life. Our teachers tailor the learning pace according to the student’s needs. We encourage parents to be supportive and understanding which helps in accelerating the child’s progress.
Students who wish to go for examinations will be subject to the ABRSM syllabus. It is not necessary to take exams yearly nor under every grade. Students may discuss with their respective teachers on planning for exams.
Our teachers are mostly graduates with a degree or a diploma in music. Moreover, all our teachers have undergone a stringent audition and interview for their performing abilities, teaching skills and interactive personality.
Yes. Many of our students study 2 instruments concurrently. However, the number of instruments a student should learn should depend on his interests, schedule, available practice times and parental support.
A 4-weeks advanced written notice is required. You may send in an email or fill-up a termination form available at the school’s front counter.
Yes. You will have 47 lessons in a year no matter which day your lesson falls on. Therefore, fees are to be paid monthly (by the 15th) regardless of holidays. Please refer to our Academic Calendar for more details.
We understand that there may be, in the rare occasions, the need to change the time slots due to unforeseen circumstances. Such requests can be made known to the teacher and is subject to the teacher’s and studio’s time availability. If the instructor is absent, the instructor will arrange for the replacement of lessons. Alternatively, the Conservatory will arrange for a relief instructor to take over the class.
In the event of long absence from lessons, you are advised to terminate your course with a 4 weeks advanced written notice served to the school. An administration fee of $40 is applicable when you re-enroll. Otherwise, you will be required to pay all current or outstanding fees.
It is crucial to have an instrument right from the start as the progress of the student depends entirely on practice. It is also important to invest in an acceptable quality instrument right from the start as it helps to encourage the student’s practice and therefore help sustain the child’s interest. Parents’ involvement and enthusiasm towards their child’s music education is another factor that greatly affects the sustenance of the child’s interest.
